BooksTime collects information from clients in order to provide requested services.
BooksTime collects information about identifiable individuals and companies and may include information such as the individual’s or company’s name, contact information (including emails), telephone number, bank account details, taxation details, business data (such as sales figures, cost estimates, etc.), and accounting and financial information. You can always choose not to provide your information to BooksTime, but it may mean that we are unable to provide our services to you.
If you do not wish your information to be stored on a server located in the U.S., you should not provide BooksTime with your information or use our services.
Through your use of our services, BooksTime may also collect information from you about someone else or about you from someone else. If you provide information about someone else, you must ensure that you are authorized to disclose that information and that, without BooksTime taking any further steps required by applicable data protection or privacy laws, BooksTime may collect, use and disclose such information for the purposes described in this Policy.

For a free BooksTime security consultation, which includes guidance on how to secure your Internet communications, clients may contact our security desk by emailing email@example.com. Please note that the Internet is not in itself a secure environment and we cannot give an absolute assurance that your information will be secure at all times, especially if you don’t take the necessary precautions. Transmission of information over the Internet is at your own risk and you should only enter, or instruct the entering of, information to BooksTime within a secure environment.
While we use commercially reasonable physical, managerial and technical safeguards to secure your information, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information or content you transmit to us. Any information or content you transmit to us is done at your own risk.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide to us is accurate, complete and up-to-date. We’ll only keep your information for as long as we have a valid purpose to do so as your service provider.
