How can you offer such high-quality service for such a low price?
By offering remote services, we’re able to take advantage of differences in market rates for bookkeepers in different states and regions. Even within a single state, bookkeeper wages can vary dramatically. Take Massachusetts, our home state, for example. The market rate for bookkeepers in the western regions of Massachusetts is, on average, about 50% of the rate in the eastern regions. A bookkeeper in Boston (which is in the east) might make twice as much as a bookkeeper in Amherst (which is in the west) even if they have the same exact qualifications. If you hire a bookkeeper to work in your office, you have to pay whatever the going rate is in your area.
